Maintenance Method of Gas Steam Boiler

If the gas-fired steam boiler is not used for a long time, it needs to be maintained. There are two main types: dry method and wet method. The specific method is as follows.

1. Dry maintenance

After this series of boilers product are shut down, drain the boiler water, thoroughly remove the internal dirt, rinse it, and dry it in a hearth furnace (be careful not to use a large fire), and then divide the lump quicklime with a diameter of 10-30 mm. The plate is installed and placed in the drum, so that the quicklime does not come into contact with the metal. The weight of the quicklime is calculated based on the volume of the drum 8 kg per cubic meter, and then all the hand-hole pipe valves are closed and checked every three months. If the quicklime is broken into powder, it needs to be replaced. The quicklime should be replaced when the boiler is restarted. Combine the disc and take it out.

2. Wet maintenance

After stopping the furnace, release the furnace water to completely remove the internal dirt, rinse, and refill the treated water to fullness, heat the furnace water to 100°C, let the gas in the water discharge out of the furnace, and then close all valves. The climate is cold. The place does not need to use wet maintenance to prevent the boiler water from freezing and damaging the furnace.
